Lisa Cantalupo is an artist, 3rd generation seamstress, founder and fashion designer
for Sexy Skins Leather Fashions, Mother, motorcycle rider, and graduate of
Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she was the recipient of
numerous awards of distinction such as; the Massachusetts College of Art and Design
Award for Excellence in Design, the Lord & Taylor Dress Design Competition Scholarship Award,
and an internship with Leslie Fay in New York City.
Lisa made her professional debut at The Boston Designers Collaborative Press Expo
Fashion Show, showcasing her collection which ranged from swimwear and sportswear,
to eveningwear and wedding gowns. It was Boston's leading fashion designer and BDC founder,
Geoffrey B. Small, who said of Lisa's collection, "very hip...very original, slick and
elegant....tutto Perfetto!" and compared her work to the likes of Romeo Gigli, Blass,
It was Lisa's love for riding her motorcycle which awakened her passion for leather,
and inspired the birth of Sexy Skins Leather Fashions and Accessories. Sexy Skins
has created opportunities for Lisa to design for for clients such as Rock & Roll legend
Magic Dick from the J. Geils Band, and celebrity motorcycle and car builder, Alan Lee.
Lisa's creations can be seen worn on motorcycle Momma's and Pappa's, and women and
men from around the globe.
